A rebody would have been easier but I am a firm believer that the cars "soul" rests in the original parts. So reusing all we can of the original Daytona is more prudent to its resurection. Being in the north east I am rarely privy to restoring anything that is not ruted to heck. It would be nice if a southern project would show up one day. Also they used screws to hold the headliner in place back there.
