The 60303 is a nice cam. I think it used a 3-bolt cam gear. We used it in a '67 Coronet with a 9:1 compression 400.

well you are supposed to use @.050 on those calculators this one is exactly the same as the wallace and gives the same numbers
http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/comprAdvHD.htm

this is 9.75 to 1 0 boost 1000 feet intake valve closes at 52 if it were installed at 106

Static compression ratio of 9.75:1.
Effective stroke is 3.55 inches.
Your dynamic compression ratio is 8.28:1 .
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 166.22 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 0 PSI is 8.28 :1.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 213

10.5 to 1 would be real safe on 93
Static compression ratio of 10.5:1.
Effective stroke is 3.55 inches.
Your dynamic compression ratio is 8.93:1 .
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 183.20 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 0 PSI is 8.93 :1.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 235

11 to 1 is a could do but maybe not with a 3200 stall
Static compression ratio of 11:1.
Effective stroke is 3.55 inches.
Your dynamic compression ratio is 9.35:1 .
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 194.30 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 0 PSI is 9.35 :1.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 249

Your cam calls for 106 install and 9 to 1 dynamic is usually very safe if you are going to use a 3200 stall I may lean toward installing the cam at 104 which will make intake closing @ .050 50 raising the above numbers a bit.
Static compression ratio of 10.5:1.
Effective stroke is 3.60 inches.
Your dynamic compression ratio is 9.04:1 .
Your dynamic cranking pressure is 186.10 PSI.
Your dynamic boost compression ratio, reflecting static c.r., cam timing, altitude, and boost of 0 PSI is 9.04 :1.
V/P (Volume to Pressure Index) is 242

I have my 493 at 10.6 comp and it runs good on 92 pump. I use a cutom grind cam from Dwayne Porter and its a little bigger then yours as it is 264 and 270 at .050 with .624 and .630 lift using 1.6 rockers. It has a 110 LSA and I have the cam in at a 106 centerline. My car weighs 3700 lbs with me and I use a Dynamic 9.5 converter that flashes about 4200. I also have 4.30's with a 30" tire. Mine is stret/strip but it is much more street. I have a very fast timing advance as its all in by 1800 and it has 38 total. I have no ping at all and I built good .046 quench in the eng. Just figured I would throw my build at you so you can see what works for me. Ron

Ron how do you like the 4.30s with the 30" tall tires for street use?I didnt get to drive this car before i pulled the engine with the 30 inch tires on it.

Im still up in the air about the compression,i just have to make up my mind. How much more power will i make if i do go to say 10.5 to 1 ?
Im just thinking if its only maybe 10 horse is it even worth the possiabilty of having a problem.

Its got alot of rump rump. Its just what I wanted as it is nasty sounding but idles nicely around 1000 rpm. I wanted a stout solid flat tappet cam that made good power and sounded good but also had a decent idle which it has all. I use a Dynamic 4200 flash street/strip converter and it drives great like this. I put a ton of street miles on it. Ron

I like it as it turns about 3300 RPM around 60 mph which is fine with me. But with my new 493 I may not need as much gear so I may try dropping back to 4.10's or 3.91's and see how the car likes it. If it slows down I will put the 4.30's right back in but I dont think it will slow down as I think it may even pick up some. Ron
