I have a 10 year old Craftsman dial back and a Flaming River self contained unit. I compared them the other day and found that the Craftsman had about 2 * more timng when set at zero and about 1*-1.5* more advance when the knob was set at minimum as referenced to the Flaming River. I know dial backs are not reccomended by MSD. As any one had success with the dial back from Equus? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EQU-5568/?rtype=1
