How do we know which ones might leak?
Call Don at FBO & in the meantime go from the prob to the solution w a bracket like Andy's
No I'll need to buy another brand or type of higher performance than stock coil that mounts horizontal. Used it because I wanted it to look stock in the past and was going to use it on the GTX for the same reason. This is an older MSD Blaster on my '68 rr painted black, on an Edelbrock aluminum CHB4, (Edelbrock and numbers ground off ) with an electronic distributor with the ECU mounted inside under the dash and the ECU wiring run inside of the stock wiring harness and through the bulkhead junction (red wire). That's a Holley SA under there with a nice cam and kind of stock looking. Doing the same with the '69 GTX so I need to figure out if the MSD Blaster I have now will work?

Careful, the terminals on the new 8202 Blasters are junk too.
I barely tightened the + wire on mine and it broke and stripped the threads.
$40 down the toilet!
Car runs fine with an old black Chrysler coil.

According to MSD tech forums a coil mounted sideways may run to hot since not all the coils will be submersed in cooling oil. I just got a dry Blaster SS that I plan on mounting today.
