Great to see all of us old guy's still at it , and the young guy's getting into the sport. Who say's drag racing is dead.

Older than I planned on when I would quit drag racing and a lot longer racing than I planned on Do the math Won my 1st trophy in 1964 at age 19 (there was a few street contest on dark, isolated roads before then ) and racing and winning on and off every since Oh Well I could have spent the time, energy and money in the bars or something worst

I am 60, and my first passes on the strip were in 1967 at a very primitive local track.I have not made a pass in years, but that should change this coming season. I guess I will now fit the "ET Chaser" class with my Allstate, which should be my fastest ride so far. I have owned the Allstate car since 1969 or so.

Always liked racing, life just got in the way for many years.

I'm 37, bracket raced from 97 to 04. Racing Stock & Super Stock since. Finished 5th in Division 6 SS points this year.

I just turned 57. Bracket raced sporadically from 73 until I got married. Started again with a few passes here and there in the early 80's. Got serious and chased N/SS points until 02. We won a fair amount but I got tired of the travel. Still run the street car a few times a year. New N/SS car will be done for spring so I can go back at it. No points chasing just a good time at selected events. And yes as always I'm serious about wining.

57 years OLD . First pass in 1972 in a 68 4speed RR.
Been a weekly bracket racer (3 different rides) since 1988. No plans to quit anytime soon.

55 as of yesterday. First pass in 78 hooked me.

57 years old. Started racing in 1975 at Connecticut Dragway. Then it closed in 1976 until 1980 when I got back into it.
Tried to get away for a while by riding Harleys but I'm too much of a junkie...

47,been racing mopars since i was 16.stated with 15 sec 68 cuda,fastest pass was in my altered 10.07@129.now the belvedere runs 11 teens,the 65 coronet 10.70'-80s.

I wish I could race more but 2 young kids and a demanding wife....anyway I started at 21 and I'll be 45 Monday.

I'm 44, been dragstrip racin since 1987...the old 65 Sport Fury convertible. Sure is funny how many "13 second" cars that thing destroyed on the street!

I'm 52, been drag racing since 1975, We spectated at the old Alton Dragway and Whitehall Ill track before that. first car 71 plymouth satelite,
318 car ran 17.80, won sportsman class at the track 4 weeks running
got a trophy for my winnings! still have everyone I have won

I am 57 been racing something since I was 16. Ran motocross, roadraced, and dragraced motorcycles unitl late 80's and switched to cars. Been as fast as 7.65 at 185 in my Mopar powered dragster before I sold it.
