Hey guys,
I have not seen one like this before, does anyone else have one? This one was found by Alan Lemon in a M46 Barracuda.

Hey Rick,
Those are great! Do you have a scanner by chance? I would love to see those in a larger, more legible format.

Unfortunately, when I did the car I didn't have a scanner, so I just shot pics with a 35mm.
I can possibly come up with some better images.
Other possibility is tracking the car to see if I can get another opportunity to scan them.

This car was a gold mine of originality !!

Is that trunk extension that the paperwork was found in is located inside the lower part of the quarter panel? Is that the area that is referred to?

Barry, I started a similar thread about these 2 E Body sheets I found below & posted pics a few weeks back...so did Resto Rick, and his pics were the first sheets like this I've seen. One is from my EW1 '70 Barracuda, the other from an EV2 '71 Challenger V8. Found under the carpet & glued to the RH front floor pans (white & orange body color/spray adhesive on forms seen in pics), & were secured by the seat belt bolts on interior trans tunnel.

One Moparts member mentioned documents were assigned at the St. Louis plant that were either identical or similar in format, only no pics of the St. Louis sheets were presented then for any comparison.

This should be acknowledged as the document created for those cars pulled away from the assembly line(s) at Hamtramk in '70 & '71 & the repairs & flaws mentioned on the form were then corrected before the car was approved to leave the factory for delivery is my best guess. Seeing others like these helps prove their existence.

From the looks of it in Al's form, in August 1969, there was much excitement, and all sections on his sheet were filled out by hand, the date, shift circled, etc. - but by June/July '70, the EW1 car's form, the inspector on that shift was not filling out the entire form.

Any idea where the sheet was found in his car?

I found the "IBM" Build Card in my '71 Barracuda (Hamtramck car) years ago under the carpet. Of course, I didn't save it. It struck me as being odd, since it was an "IBM punchcard" type card. Build date on mine was 3/25/71

'71 SSP - SOLD!

My note on the picture is where I found the card... tucked/dropped down in the quarter extension. (Panel between trunk floor and quarter panel rear of wheel.)

On the paint inspection document, there's the word "loose" over the REAR STONE SHIELD box. (rear valance). I believe it was damaged at some point in assembly. The one on the car had NO primer, just the Sassy Grass topcoat that was loosing adhesion fast ! Backside was rusty... (rest of the car was all original paint zero rust California most of it's life.) The Dana had Sassy Grass overspray, apparently from painting the rear valance in place. My first thought was shipping damage fixed at the dealership, but after finding this Paint Inspection Document, it appears to have been a factory repair... and a very poor one !

Fun stuff...
Rick

(Note the e-brake cable masking tape remnant... )
