1970 GTX P6XA interior. (P-premuim grade, 6-vinyl bucket, X-BLACK & A-CHARCOAL)

Black - dash, carpet, UDF, seat inserts & some piping
Charcoal - most of the seat vinyl with some silver piping

I saw a freshly done '70 Road Runner last weekend, It had "Legendary" covers on it, but the "CHARCOAL" parts of it were very "silver" it just didn't look right. Almost looked like the correct color for a '71 Charger w/"Gunmetal" interior. I know the seats in the car are 38+ years old, but seeing this "silver" interior made me question the accuracy of the "Legendary" covers.

What do you know? What have you seen?

I wonder this myself. I asked what the correct color combo was with this code to a few people (moparts included) and there were many different answers. Dante, like yourself had it right, charcoal with silver piping and black inserts but I didn't believe it until I pulled apart my donor seats to recover. The charcoal is so subtle everyone thinks it's black (including me) but when I found some virgin material at the seems on my old covers it was clear. All this said I was like you and too afraid of the vibrant silver I have seen on Legendary's covers to use it as a skirt color and went with the common black, silver insert combo. I would love to know if anyone makes it correctly.

Attached is a pic of the factory charcoal seam vs the new black skirt.
