Randy, Might be too risky given the value of an "X", but have you considered loosing the vynal top? My dart was a vynal top car and I ditched it when it was painted. Also got rid of the drivers side fuel door on the rear quarter...nice clean look. Again...not sure you'd want to alter an "X" quite that much, it's a big decision but something to ponder....  Good choice staying with green as its a great color on an "X"...either one will work IMHO

Randy I have one more on my home computer, but have to resize it to post it here. Chucks car actually has a painted top. The stickers pay money if you win so I can understand having them, but the car is a VERY nice piece.

Stubeck is his last name and he is from the California area. Moparts member "Troy" is friends with him IIRC. Not sure on the correct term for the color. Never been a numbers matching type. Heck I painted my Dad's B5 matching #'s Super Bee, Viper Red. It's what he wanted.

Hey Randy  I like different ; my triple black car was originally light green.  Paint it whatever color suits You !  Personally, I like maroon/dark red in that body style but black is allways a good choice Ron

Hey Randy You're welcome my "brother from another mother". Next year you'll see  the Coronet instead of just pics. It was a toss up for me between F6 and Snakeskin green.When i walked in the shop after it was painted i initially thought what the hell did i do.But then we rolled it out into the sun and loved it.
