I guess the first question is, Is the windshield glass the same between a 71 Satellite 2dr and 4dr car? If so, whats a good vendor to use? I want to replace my old scratched up glass.

If its not the same, does anyone sell a windshield for a 71 Satellite 4dr? Im guessing not as its not a high demand item if 4dr specific.

I'm thinking they are the same and any auto glass company can get them for you for around $200 bucks installed.

Call the glass shop and ask them while inquiring about the cost.

Ok, I will give them a ring and see. Im just not very confident in what companies say sometimes, so figured I would ask here, where no-one is trying to sell me something. Would hate to have someone looking at some list of part #'s for cars that they are not familiar with and just say, "oh yeah, 71 Satellite, we can get that for you". And then have them pull my old one and the new one not fit because they thought a 2dr and 4dr were the same, only to have it turn out that they weren't.

The 74 parts book shows two different numbers. One for the 2 door Hardtops/Sedans(21&23) and another for the 4 door Sedans(41) and Station Wagons(45&46). I don't know what the differences would be as I've never noticed any in the glass. The dash pads are the same and the wiper pivots are the same. I also don't have a 71 parts book to see if the year makes a difference in part numbers. By the way I really like that car of yours.

Anytime I needed windshields, any glass place always seemed to be able to get it basically by the next day. 2-250 installed. Oh by the way, four door and two door is different on that B Body.

I would bet you need 71-74 or so 4 door and wagon satellite and coronet only

Don't quote me on this but I *think* the 4dr glass is taller.

I'm also pretty sure the windshield will interchange between 4drs and wagons up to '78.

2-dr is different than 4-dr and wagon.
I might have one. Will look at condition.

Check with Safelite. Should be one near you.
