I called jims with a quick tech question about one of their parts I wanted to order, and the lady yelled at me saying that they don't know anymore about the parts than what's in the description on the site, and that they don't restore cars.
I like herbs though.
I like Jim's website and use it often to research parts/etc. Then I go and buy it from one of the REAL Mopar dealers!!!

I just bought a few odds and ends for my 'Cuda from Dante's. OK, let's just say that I am a bit of a dork and I caused Dante a little trouble with my order. It was all my fault. With that being said, Dante was great. I am definitely going to buy from him again!

Dante's was fantastic with me as well even reimbursing me postage for a return after I told them I was happy to pay it.

Add Dixie Restorations to the list, Randy is great to deal with and will meet or beat anyone else on price and shipping. Dante and Herb as well. I was sorry to see Hardens get bought out though, they were nice people

We REALLY need to have a "Member recommended vendors" sticky.
A list, not necessarily in any order, of vendors who are great for restoration, NOS, repro, etc.
It would have really helped me when I started restoring my car 2.5 years ago.
Maybe have a tips section on ordering parts and parts to avoid but maybe that would be too long.

Most times I find the stuff I need the cheapest on ebay. I also buy body panels from rockauto. They have super low shipping compared to most. I had 2 full length front floor pans for my challenger shipped to me for 10 bucks! For interior stuff, always Dante's. I never used any of the rest except Jims once, only one who had the part I needed on their website at the time. 3 days later it arrived.

I always check Megaparts first, though I do buy from Dante's...

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

IF YOU BUY ANYTHING FROM JIM'S MOPAR PARTS YOU DESERVED THE SCREWING YOU WILL SURELY GET ... Without Astroglide or a kiss. Seriously, for me, is this: What I need, where the company is for shipping, cost, etc, etc. Megaparts, Bill R, Dante's, Roseville, Bouchellon, R/T are pretty good. I look at prices for things, availability, shipping. Also, never hurts to ask for discounts on how much is spent. Just my few cents worth
