Hey guys, who makes the best fuel injector cleaner out there? I'm talking about the stuff you pour in your gas tank.
The old van's running kinda ugly and I've never used that stuff so I want to give this a shot.

over the counter = Chevron Techron prescription = BG-44 which happens to be the same stuff, just concentrated. BTW, The BG service is 3 parts, and while the can for the tank works wonders, cleaning the throttle body makes things idle much better too. Add in the upper end can, and this is one service that is NOT snake oil!

I've heard that the Mopar stuff is Chevron. Can anyone confirm?
I pop a bottle in at oil change since it's relatively cheap.

I went to the VatoZone and the old guy there told me to use SeaFoam. When I acted apprehensive, he told me that if it doesn't work, come back and see him and he personally would buy me a bottle of whatever FI cleaner I wanted...so I figured I had nothing to lose.
I'll give it a shot (just put it in the tank yesterday afternoon) and post my results in a day or so.

I mix my own. Anyone know whats in their favorite brand?
Chevron Techron: Chevron deleveloped "Polyether Amine, PEA" and tradenamed it "Techron". Until recently they held the patent on it so it was proprietary. That patent recently ran out, so other oil companies are now able to use the chemistry. I believe 76's "V-Power" is the same additive. The chemical compound flat out works.
Not sure what other off the shelf additive bottles may now contain this.
