I have heard there are to differnt manual steering boxes but they both look the same how can you tell the good from the bad ? There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama & people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good.

RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	I had heard that the /6 ones are not as stout as V8 ones something about a bushing being used instead of a bearing but not sure. Might inquire at www.slantsix.org or www.forabodiesonly.com or www.bigblockdart.com. I think it is a non issue & if the play is acceptable you're in good shape but then there's the prob of the horrendous 24:1 EDIT iirc there's a difference on the outside case that will tell if it's the bushing or the bearing type, would need to search that out Last edited by RapidRobert; 09/27/11 11:09 AM. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
