If you were looking for rust on a 69 Dart other than the floors and frame where would you look? Where is the most common places? Are they like the b-body around the back glass? Thanks

I was fairly lucky on my Dart. It was a southern car and just the trunk extensions, bottom of the quarters and spare tire well were cancered.

Simple fact is LOOK EVERYWHERE. It depends on where the car came from and how it was cared for. I have been looking a A bodies for a while and they can rust anywhere. It is a 43 year old car. I have seen a few with good bodies and rotten frames.... I would spend a lot of time underneath one with a hammer and a good light before I would drop much money on one.

Pretty much anything made out of steel, on my old 68 Dart I was able to re-use the roof, cowl, 3 frame rails, 1 door, 1 inner fender and the dash, everything else was swapped for better parts from donor cars and the floors/trunk came from AMD.

The car didn't look all that bad it's just that every time I dug into it I found more hidden damage.
