Does any one have any good idea's on where to hide a MSD box in a E-body. I thought about the glove box but not sure about the box over heating. I really dont want to see that big box.

Consider mounting it under the battery tray.

Done this on a few E's. Works pretty good.

I'f you want to do it that way what I did was unbolt the E brake assy & slide it out so I could insert an "L" shaped bracket, the bracket had two holes that the studs mounting the E brake passed thru & then on the other side of the "L" I drilled two more holes & tacked a couple nuts to the back side... This gives a very solid mount at the firewall end then I replaced the bolt at the front of the E brake assy with a length of all-thread & used a nut to secure the E brake & two more nuts (one front & one back) to support the plate The MSD was mounted to..

Oh & yeah I cleaned the wiring up, that picture was taken early in the mock up phase...

Here's where mine is. Have since swapped to MSD box. Wasn't too bad to swap when everything was in(engine-rad etc).

Another one for under the battery tray. I mounted the box right-side up and on the actual tray, for there was no way I was drilling holes in a virgin inner fender. No moisture being trapped this way either.

Easy access to the RPM chip too.

I would have but didn't want to run wires to the trunk.
I like hiding it behind the glove box liner

It may or may not fit due to size, but see if it will fit behind the headlight on the drivers side. I mounted a Jacobs Ignition box there on my Challenger conv. and nobody ever saw it.
