Dennis, you are one of the most annoying people on this site.

Did you look at the photos? Did you see the blower snout? Did you see the blower tensioner pulley that would contact a fan clutch?

Simply annoying.

I'm looking and the photos won't 100% confirm it but to me it looks like theres a good amount of space between the alternator belt & the blower belt..... As long as there is nothing the photos don't show I'd look at shortening the blower snout, tensioner & crank pulley...

Not a bad idea, B&M or someone like that should offer drive options.
Or use a manifold that moves the blower back some.

It wouldn't take much to modify the parts he has.. A little machine work, a little welding... A BFH..

awsome!you did not even have to move the rad. to move the blower back a 1/2" plate with studs for the blower and countersunk screws to the intake will move it back for you.if you have a scrap yard near you thay may have the aluminum or the contacts to get some scraps to do it but for now enjoy it before the snow comes!

Well I now have it cooling the way I`d like.
The pulley ratio was 3% UNDER-driven

So i made a pulley out of 2 cut/weld and now have 17% over-driven ratio.
That did it. Let it idle for 10min.s after a hard drive. Never topped 180*

Top pulley 6-1/8th OD. Crank is 7-1/8th.
Using my math is 16.35% over-driven.

Yep correct, I assumed earlier (incorrectly) that he had a 7&1/4" crank pulley

I would ditch that flex fan and mount the electric fans in front of the radiator .

Why not mount an electric fan with a thermostat between the engine and radiator? That way when it gets hot the fans can run at whatever speed they need to to keep it cool - even when the engine is at idle. Better yet it frees up some parasitic lose due to the mechanical fan (or at least transfers it to the alternator). BTW you can find some inexpensive fans that are slim off newer vehicles, and I like the thermostat controlled ones the best.
