Looking to buy a drive snout for my blower case GMC 8/71,...I would like to do it only once ....after determining where the blower pulleys "sit", how is the snout measured?, from what points?....to determine the correct length to order/purchase, I know shorter is better, because the distance can be made up in spacers, I just don't want to order based on the wrong measuring criteria....

TIA
Mike

can you put a yard stick on the crank pulley yet?if so measure from the blower case to the yd stk and subtract for the pulley,if you have the blower on that is.

Let me add,,,,,,,,,,,depending on what gears are in the blower, there are a few different bolt patterns used.Another expensive learning curve i went through
