My daughter and I was driving from a car show on Saturday. She notice a few drops of water dripping on her feet. It looks like it is comming from around the heater core area. I don't not smell antifreeze yet. Any suggestions?

Were you running the A/C? If not yes it has to be from the heater core.

Take care,

If it's an a/c car check the drain tube. If not a/c I will have to agree on the heater core being the problem.

sorry then it's your heater core leaking.

you could clamp both heater hoses, so it won't leak while you finish driving the car this year.

I suspected my heater water valve was internally leaking, allowing some hot water to go through the heater core while I was running the AC. So clamped them off temporally. I used 2 old water bed wood frame brackets I had laying around. Looks like crap but works.
You could do something similar until you take out the heater box to replace the core. Good luck.

Instead of tasting it, if there's antifreeze in the system, the liquid will feel a bit oily. There's also a water drain for the cowl that can get plugged up, in which case rainwater & car-wash water will come out of the heater box.
