Hello
This is on my 70 dart with 8 3/4 rear with 1 3/4" brakes. I'm sorry I don't know the correct part names. There is a cable that has an eyelet that hooks around the top brake shoe pivot point and wraps around down to the piece that holds tension on the adjuster. Should that cable be a little loose or very taught? Mine is a little loose, same on both sides and I don't think anything is installed wrong but just wanted to check.
thanks

Tony

Thanks for the reply. Any common mistake I could have made during assembly that would cause the cable to be loose?

see the tension spring from the ratchet arm for the adjuster to the inside of the brake shoe in this photo? Is that correct on yours?

A12 thanks for taking the time to post the photos. I'll check my installation compared to them.

Or, assuming that the brakes are 10 inch, that somehow you now have adjuster cables for 11 inch brakes,(doubtful) Are the correct lower springs in place?
