He asked about my flexplate. It is an SFI B&M but the sticker is gone. Anyway I can get another sticker from B&M or is it a crapshoot? Ted Need your rear end checked out? Contact Grizzly!!

408strokerdart master 4 Joined: Feb 2003 Posts: 3,456 Out West	I keep a quick reference card for tech that I keep up to date with all the sfi numbers, dates and serial numbers of all sfi components. I hand it to the tech guy and they are normally so blown away that they rarely even look at more than just my helmet and belts. I have never seen any tech guy go under a car to safety check any components. Like my bellhousing.....the sticker can't be seen with the trans in the car. With that said, I bet you can't get another sticker without sending it back to B&M for inspection.

MR_P_BODY Master Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 52,972 Romeo MI	No one will hand out a SFI sticker.... as for the flex plate... no one has ever looked at mine and I dont ever remember anyone asking about it... belts, helmet, ground on the fuel cell, dual carb springs are about all they look at

roadhazard master Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 3,675 Akron, Ohio U.S.A.	Mine's never had a sticker and I've never been asked Have read some recent posts of some SFI certified flex plates cracking though. Won't be long before SFI bolts are mandated and have to be replaced every 2 years
