Could someone tell me how much wieght could be lost by removing rear window regulators and replacing the glass with lexan.

I'll look when I go to the shop tonight and post later. We went to lexan and removed the reuglators in gearjammerdart's 69 this year and I weighed and wrote everything down.

I don't think it's much myself. I left all the factory glass in my Scamp, even the front door windows still roll up and down (steel doors) but I couldn't keep the rear windows operational, wheel tub is in the way.

Sorry for the delay. Not as much weight in the regulators and glass as you my have thought. Here are some of the items and their weights:
Quarter Glass & Regulators: 9.5# ea.
Rear Glass: 17#
Deck Lid: 48#
Doors w/ Glass, Regulators & Door Panels: 68.5# ea.
A little here and there ads up!
