Cuda340 OP top fuel Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 2,368 Wheatfield, NY	How do you get the rocker shaft off of the head? I have to change an intake rocker. Also where do you get an intake rocker, it's like finding hens teeth. How do you set the lash as well. cold or hot and what .000"???? Thanks, Jeff

6PakBee I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 10,735 North Dakota	Wow, it's been a while but IIRC, you have to back off all the rocker arm adjusters one at a time so you can pull the pushrods out. Now that you have no pressure on the rocker arm shaft, you pull the locking bolt out and slide the rocker arm shaft out the front of the motor. But this is from memory, it's been 25 years since I worked on a poly anything. "We live in a time when intelligent people are being silenced so that stupid people won't be offended".
