I have a 426 hemi manifold which I am trying to install a heat riser and choke tube set up on. The manifold does have bosses but no holes.

Here are my questions:

How does the tube that goes through the manifold connect to the brass fitting on the bottom side of the manifold (the brass fitting which the lower choke tube screws into).

I am guessing that the brass fitting screws in and bottoms out on the tube slightly pushing the tube up ending up with tight fit.

How does the upper choke tube connect to the tube sticking out of the manifold. Does it just slide into the manifold tube? The upper choke tube is way smaller than the tube sticking out of the manifold.

My heat riser kit came with 2 pins (one small and one big). Which pin goes towards the engine block?

A detailed picture would be very helpful.

Thanks for the help.

No holes? Please post pics of your manifold parts

Hi Scott,

It is a repop manifold. I can not take a picture of it because it is with my friend who is going to machine it for me.
