If somebody wouldn't mind, could please give me the center to center width of the lifter bores(intake to exhaust, first pair on first cylinder, or second pair, whatever is easiest to measure). Also, if anybody knows the Crank center to cam center dimension, that would help as well. Any and all help is much appreciated, thanks!
OEM spec or measured is fine, thanks again! trying to line out some geometry in cad

I believe the stock lifter bore spacing is 2 inches center to center.
that would be incorrect for the stock lifter bore spacing. it's actually 1.800" the distance between pairs varies depending on the location of the pair. if my memory serves me correctly, here are the lifter bore bore spacings as measured from the front dowl pin location. these are just from memory so don't take them as gospel. i've done so many lifter bore bushing jobs that i think these numbers are pretty well engrained in my brain, but??? all of my spec sheets are at the shop. i can verify these numbers tomorrow if you like. 1. 1.520 back from front dowel 2. 3.320 3. 6.520 4. 8.320 5. 11.120 6. 12.920 7. 16.120 8. 17.920"
the cam to crank centerline on all BB mopars is 5.147-5.152 again, just from memory. maybe one of the site sponsors can chime in the verify the information.

Thanks, sorry for the misinformation I was also going from memory, I stand corrected.

your welcome. there are 2.0" spacings available in some aftermarket blocks for specific applications. that's probably what you were thinking of.
i'm pretty sure those same questions were asked once before by the OP. i guess no one ever answered them.
Yeah I've been looking at those World products blocks and I screwed up, hey you might know, where would I get a "shelf" custom cam for those wider spaced lifter bores?

a "shelf" custom cam? no problem. just expect to pay a bit more for the core.
Haha I know, I guess I better decide either on a standard lifter bore spacing iron mega block or the world aluminum block and fork out the extra cash. Sorry for hijacking the thread
