Well our first weekend of pulling went pretty darn good!!
The first day we pulled a 3rd place out of 11 trucks.
We were still having trouble with the take off. The engine wanted to bog at 4500rpm, but then it lit right up to 7500rpm. We were happy though with how it ran other then the bogging at the start.
The second day we opened up the Barrel Valve some more and it took off just great! So all this time and all it was was the barrel valve was just not letting enough fuel in. We were always going right direction with the barrel valve got not quick enough.
The second day we took a chance a pulled where no one else did. The start of the track was perfect but when we got to the other end the clay/dirt had just been baking in the hot sun and it was like be hit a sand beach and that was it the truck just spun out.
The second day the truck ran at 7700rpm.
Overall we are very happy with this weekend. Engine ran very well and the second day it took off very nicely. Although I was waiting for the bog as i was coming into the peddle so when it didn't come i was shocked and didn't get on it as fast as i would have liked.
The guy who won both days just out powered us. If it is a POWER track there are 2 engines that have a solid 1400++ hp and even with all the money and development in our TS engine we can't beat that.
