sounds like tightening the convertor helped! where did you start with the timing and end up! which carb do you have now?

The timing was on 30 and i went to 38 and it has a 950 RUPERT ALK carb on it he said it needs a dominator that it would go two tens faster but i put a 950 on it but i am to try a dominator and see THANKS

Thank you all i don"t won"t it to be the fasted 572 i won"t it to be one of the best at running 6.0 pass after pass at the BOUNTY race and let all them Chevy and Ford guys know you better make a real good pass or a MOPAR is going to put you on the trailer and maybe with a little luck i can . Like SATURDAY night in 2nd round on a pro tree i had RT .023 ET 6.019 at 116 and he had RT .008 ET 6.005 at 118 he won but he had to make a real good pass and they all know a MOPAR was their .MOPAR OR NO CAR .

Congratulations. Sounds like a fun class to run and you are really getting your car dialed in. How many cars usually show up for the 6.0 class?

1970 Duster
Edelbrock headed 408
5.984@112.52
422 Indy headed small block
5.982@112.56 mph

Congrats on gettin' her tuned in, Bobo. Was great talking to ya (as usual) and shooting the bull. I absolutely love the sound of that Duster (well, BOTH of them, lol). One of the best things about that car is no power adder, ALL MOTOR, and not a tube chassis car like most of the rest of them. You've come a long way with that ride and I'm looking forward to seeing you put that Mopar in the Winner's Circle more than once this year!!!

Congrats, sounds like you are headed in the right direction.

They must have had the A/C up there. Yesterday it was 102 degrees heat index around 115 degrees track temp. was 151 degrees @ 4:00 EST.

They had a StuntDay(for real)Car & Bike Show, boom box The best part $20.00 to get in the gate $10.00 to race. The Fans got to chose what kind of race they wanted to see,Bracket, Index,Heads-Up Grudge Racing. They chose Heads-Up Run What You Brung And Hope You Brung enough. I only went to T&T but a free race for a $500.00 purse,I could not turn that down. They had a few 4.70 cars & some more Grudge Racers that said they could run in the 4's. But the heat & track temp. said otherwise. I had the only car that run in the 4's,but my ET was down almost 2 tenths. It was HOT but we had FUN & the crowd loved it.

SteelDust we don't live that far apart, maybe we can get together @ a track and score 2 wins for the Mopars.

I would like to say hey to all of you and thanks you know some times we all don"t agree on ever thing and get a little mad some times but the BEST thing about MOPARTS is that it is a MOPAR thing it"s like family and racing we steel help each guy and gal out . Oh running in the 4s now that"s a big DREAM and if you run in the 4s in that heat my hats off to you man that"s a bad ride . I talked to your dad MARK With out BRADS help i would not be back racing and he is my best friend it"s me and him with are DUSTERS right now racing all them Chevys and Fords at I-40 BOUNTY RACES but maybe MARK and JR will get their MOPARS going some time a little more work and i will be ready for the next BOUNTY RACE GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL. THANKS TED
