got a question about B-body control arms,

what's the difference between the early and late versions? I know in '73 they switched to the isometric mounts, but I havent seen any comparison pics of the early and late control arms before. Are the later ones longer? do the mount in a different place (dimensionally)? etc.

Thanks!

Its hard to explain without a pic, but, '72 back the camber/cast is adjusted by individual bolts with 'cams'. The '73-up control arm mounts to a shaft, and the shaft is moved on a slotted plate to make alignment changes.

The arm will not interchange due to the different mounting styles.

EDIT: Here's a link to a thread on another site that shows the differences: linky

so then the late B- mounts just like the M-body upper arm then. Gotcha.
