Thanks for all the positives guys. My first paint job. It has its flaws but for a driver I think its pretty nice. Alot of things learned from this, like block block and keep blocking and dont rush. Did this rather quickly and found more small hail dents didnt see before but still pretty nice. Will try dentless guy to see if can push those out.
Here's a shot from tonight. Bolt rear bumper assy back in. Still more to do but now back to Army work full time so now little at a time for putting back together and cleaning up.

Last one for awhile. Put back side GTX emblems and washed off bodyshop dust.

Man that thing looks sweet love the color, if it were mine the only thing I would do is lower the front an inch. Great job you and your son did, hope one day I can do the same with my twin boys.

Face lift and now a heart transplant. Had bought a late model rebuilt 400 off a buddy to put in it as it has had a 318 living in it for past 20 years. But at last minute with other buddies urging I went ahead and finished the 440. Is not all correct looking but is a daily driver and I will detail more things on it to look better as it goes. Fired the engine up just about an hr ago and wow it is viscious sounding. Exhaust and it will be roadworthy.

Nice job, and even cooler is that you found an excellent way to spend time with your son. He should be real proud the car looks awesome

Been awhile since last posted. Most bugs worked out of car and have put on about 4000 miles since repaint. Fun fun car.

Your son has that all knowing look on his face like "One day this car will be all mine!" Fantastic job to you both!
