Anyone done one? I heard it's not that bad. I'm looking at the srt max from inertia motorsports being that I'm only looking to cam it, put a full exhuast on and a cmr tune. Is anyone running custom grinds similar to 218/223 Duration with good results?

i haven't yet, but i'm seriously thinking about putting ported heads, & either a frank racing sidewinder or factory 6.1 cam in my 5.7 magnum. if you didn't already know, there's a ton of cam swap info over at lx forums

Getting ready to move, so it will be a month or two but I'll get it done. lxforums is ok, seems like only a handful of people on there that seem to really know the mechanical piece. If I needed to know how to spraypaint my interior I'd be golden.
So... You need a factory 6.1 cam

I'm still new to the little hemis, but does that cam sound small?

the duration he mentioned is @.050" that cam has .566/.556" lift. remember these cams are designed to work with the factory PCM computer.
