Thanks Ryan, that is what I suspected...I've seen some people that said they run the link bars up on their SBM's with no issues, but they must be running small cams with small pushrods.

BTW I'm running the Morel (Callies) USA made lifters, I know a number of GM LS guys that are winding these things up pretty tight with zero issues. I had to massage the valley in a few places for them to fit over the ribs but they seem pretty nice. Doug said they make lifters for several of the 'name brands' as well.
