From what I've heard and read on the interweb synthetic clings better than dino oil.
I've been running it for 15 years. The only time I run conventional oil is for break in. I did just switch to Brad Penn semi syn. lately. My bearings have always looked good when the motor came apart for rebuild unless there was another problem.
