All I know is,this. If you want a hi flow fuel system for gasoline, then it's not advisable to try to suck it thru anything much finer that 75-100 microns.

Sure if you have a reg old fuel pump for maybe 300 hp then you will never notice if your sucking thru a finer filter. Except for increased noise and shorter pump life.

Gas is hardest to move and vaporizes(cavitates) very easy. Give your pump plenty of unrestricted flow and it won't let you down.

If your pump has a #8 inlet, use a #8 straight X #10 male flare to attach your #10 supply hose. Your pump will thank you.
