I run a 40 micron filter like the in-line summit ( only it's a Russell ) and pump through it with a 150gph Holley pump. At 12 volts, I free flow exactly 1 gallon in 30 seconds. Enough for an 11 second car. I also check it often due to the small surface area of the screen. I'd be stepping up to something bigger if I were running faster though. A flow test will tell you what you wanna know for sure.
