I have the same engine that you are about to build, same heads, intake and stroker kit. I went with the comp XS290S solid and it works well. I used a cometic 0.027" MLS head gasket to increase compression and it gives me 0.042" quench. The deck was pretty square on my block so the thinner gasket saved me the cost of machining.
