you need to make that decision , i edited my original reply and added BEFORE 10/10 , i have to look at the linked thread , it might be 10/17 ??? i get confused .

anywho , is it JUST a GREASY disassembled block ? as quikd100 states without a SONIC CHECK its a crap shoot . i have a 230 thick web block , it was locked up when i got it . it's still std bore and between rust pits AND CORE SHIFT it NEEDS 5 sleeves , good thing i got it cheap if the rumor is true about low deck megablocks coming down the pike cold weather blocks will be relegated to what the rest of the stock factory blocks are ... worth their weight in SCRAP without magnaflux AND sonic check ...

i am also dealing with a 69 440 HP block right now that has questionable integrity for anything over a STOCK rebuild .
