My experience with strokers using std port intake manifolds, along with modest CR and cams, is that .........that trifecta of parts will tend to make peak hp fairly early in the powerband, and as a result of that........ the numbers aren’t that high(at least they haven’t been for me).

Add into the mix that results from different dynos can vary quite a bit........ casting a wide net over the variables....... I’d say somewhere between 550-600hp.

One big variable for us here is whether or not the engine will reach its natural power peak based on the basic combo........ and not having the peak occur early because of the lifters having issues........ which seems to be what we’ve been seeing here lately.
