Maryland is a very diverse State, Western Maryland (Garret and Allegany counties) is very mountainous, low cost of living and quiet compared to the rest of the State, not a lot of night life possibilities, mainly Republican. Central Maryland leans more Democrat, higher cost of living, more night life. If you've got a lot of money, anywhere in Montgomery County will welcome you, very high cost of living, mainly Democrat but has the best night life, it borders Washington DC.
