Always!! I've built plenty of stock stuff & tuned lots of hotrods, in the past I would have fired it with the Edelbrock springs without a second thought...Just want to take every precaution knowing how many are lossing cams.. I've never lost one & don't care to start on this motor... I'm thinking I might fire it on the dyno so I can load the rings some while the cam is breaking in...
