mix ATF and kerosene 1:1 and dump down the cylinders. smokes like cRaZy, but will free up the rings then the smoke goes away.
i did that on the 99k mile 392 hemi that is on my shelf now. that car sat in the weeds in a guy's yard for 20+ years until i got it.
