Is there a six-digit number stamped into one of the axle tubes which gives you that info?
I know the Dana 70 in my Ford flatbed was easily identified that way.

Speaking of which, has anyone built a D70 from a truck rear? It's an even bigger ring gear than the 60, and usually has a 4.10 or deeper...
