Glad it was stopped.

They may not have copied your card but used skimmer or other stealth trick. I have one card, I use for one expense, at one specific place, a storage shed kiosk. The card got compromised. I contacted the business and told them I only use it there and they said they would send somebody to check the kiosk.

In my case it wasn't local. Somebody charged pizza in CA.

I am pretty sure that these numbers get hacked out of the credit card companies as much as they skimmed off the consumer.

They won't admit it though.
