Why the 6.400 rod for the 4.125 crank?

I went with a 6.200/2.000 rod on my 4.125 deal

You are gonna have a 1.096 CH even if the deck is actually 9.56. I don't like having the pin in the rings.


The Victor head will mandate a single plane....not really the best plan for towing a boat and under 6500rpm type of use.

The Big Mouth port work is likely overkill as well.

The Trick Flow is likely the better choice.

Given the intended useage, I would probably just use a ported set of RPMs.
