Pretty sure FL gives you a discount on yearly Property Taxes after 5yrs of residency.

Nope. You have to be a permanent resident and it has to be your primary home. Which means you have to live here for at least 6 months and a day.

Well "Residency" does assume you are saying you live there enough to meet requirements. biggrin
