I wish I was a little closer, Id love to use that particular block to build a cheap ass 472.
The recipe is stock cast 383 pistons, the stock 535 rods, a stroker 4.15 crank. There were only a couple of casting nmbers that show up as either 413 or 426. So the 4.25 bore should be okay. At the time I cooked up this combo one could buy NOS standard 383 cast pistons for $100. That made the stroker pretty cheap cubic inches. Using the stock rods and stock cast pistons I would keep engine speed to 5500 or less and revel in the torque.
It could use a pretty basic head even a cast iron head like a 452 or else one of the lower perf aluminum. 400 hp or less with a high flat torque curve.

OF Course anything you can do with a 413 block you can do better with a 440 or 400 block. But 472 cheap inches could move a big Chrysler or a pickup with authority.
