Traction is the Holy Grail of every racer. It’s not enough to have 700-horsepower under the hood. Somehow, that piston-driven push has to get to the ground without going up in a cloud of smoke and taillights. Axle wrap can leave you on the losing end, but a pinion snubber can help. Ma Mopar knew the wonders a snubber could work and even offered it as standard equipment on high-performance cars. Unfortunately, the factory piece was non-adjustable; as soon as taller tires or shackles were installed, it was basically rendered useless.
