OK, I had a 71 & 73, but never changed the tank on either. A quick search shows 68-74 j-bolts for $18/pair & those look like the ones on my 70. Is there something strange I'm missing?

I guess you could always get some 5/6" or 1/4" hardware store bolts about 6" long, stick them in a vise and bend a 90-degree end near the head and use a hardware store nut. That would work too.
