I wouldn't do either of them with the automatic. No low end power in them, at least with the stick they stupid things aren't shifting all over the place at every .5% grade or gust of wind.

When the 4.7's started to get old, I saw way more blown up 4.7 engines than I ever did 5.2/5.9 magnums. Now the Hemis are starting to look the same way. I would really like to find a 5.2/5.9 truck with a stick shift 4x4. With the 5.9's you almost have to undo the death flash to get it back up to par. My buddy used to have a low mile 02 2500 long box quad cab with the v10, 4x4 and stick. Was a real nice truck until he started having the usual v10 troubles with it and got rid of it. One like his but with a magnum v8 would be about the perfect truck for me.
