The sponsorship went to Jeg as a business decision and he chose the elite team instead of AJ racing. I believe that decision will pay off for him, but not this year. I am also glad to see AJ as the quicker car right now.
I had a feeling the Jeg had something to do with the change in sponsorship. It kind of sucks that Mopar didn't have more loyalty towards Allen Johnson. But on the other hand I'm sure there is some back door deal between Mopar and Allen Johnson. I saw Johnson's car at New Hampshire and he had the latest and greatest heads and nobody else had them, not even Elite. Something is going on......
