With hollow pushrods you'll essentially have any oil that meters up the pushrod meeting up with oil diverted from the rocker shaft slot spitting to the cup. Other than a little more at the cup and a slightly heavier pushrod ( ~4 grams maybe on a ~7" x 3/8" x .080 wall) as it's now full of oil) I can't see where it would hurt anything. more oil in the cup would probably give you just a bit better oil flow/volume to cool the springs.
