Talking with a guy this weekend and he said my LA 70 Challenger should have had NOX on the carb. Is that right? I do have the ECS system. When I got the car the carb had been replaced so can't tell if the solenoid shad been on the original.

The NOX system monitored the speed of the vehicle and retarded the timing. It did not affect the carb I don't think. The timing vacuum controller did mount to one carb stud.

Here's a picture of the harness of one when I restored my car.

This mounts on the firewall on the passenger side.

I put it back on my car to cover the hole in my firewall.
