Any in car fixes? I've used some red sealer and muffler repair which burned off. Any tricks? Solder, lead?? I've got the pipe down and can get inside and outside. Not enough room to pull the shaft out. Just want it to last when I put it back together. Is it a 383 or a 440 ? I pulled the exhaust manifold on my 383 car even with the studs still in the head. the only way to fix it is to pull the shaft out and bush the manifold ... or cover it in red hi heat RTV ...
